Additionally, the popularity of the Netflix series has brought Geralt and company’s story to a whole new audience. And now – a new installment of the series! CD Projekt RED announces something fresh and different, yet simultaneously well-known. Ciri in the leading role? Everything points to that! She is a character full of mysteries, and her fate is the stuff of a story that can keep you in suspense until the very end. The change to Unreal Engine 5 is a clear signal that we are in for a true feast for the eyes. What we have already seen in technological demos suggests that the Witcher world could be even more immersive – lights, shadows, details. But will your console or computer handle such demands? One can expect that without the right equipment, these visual marvels may not leave the impression that the studio wants to achieve. If someone is still using PlayStation 4 or an older PC, it may be time for serious consideration of an upgrade.
