Large-screen televisions, which just a few years ago seemed like a luxury or equipment reserved for the wealthiest movie enthusiasts, are now boldly entering our homes. One of the companies that has just confirmed its strong position in this segment is Hisense. According to recently published data, this manufacturer has once again ranked at the top of the global supply list for 100-inch televisions.
For those following the RTV industry, this may not be a big surprise. Hisense has been trying to clearly mark its presence in the large screen market for several years, as evidenced not only by the numbers but also by its product strategy. In 2024, the company again maintained its lead, and that speaks for itself: they must have a good idea of how to reach an increasingly demanding audience. Interestingly, it's not just about the dry fact of "highest sales." It's also about the fact that 100-inch televisions, once associated with show-off and excess, are becoming something increasingly accessible. Yes, it is still an expensive proposition; however, the drop in panel prices, greater popularity of laser technologies, and improved picture quality mean that a larger screen is no longer just a luxury for a handful of enthusiasts.
Hisense is taking advantage of this trend. According to the latest statistics, the brand not only sells a lot, but also manages to deliver models to various markets, taking into account local preferences and adapting its products to needs. As a result, the consumer not only sees the name “Hisense” at the top of the supply charts – they simply have more and more real options to buy a large television of this brand in stores or online.
The year 2024 shows that the 100-inch screen sector is doing quite well, and Hisense, maintaining its position as a leader, confirms that this niche is ceasing to be a niche. If the trend continues, more and more of us, looking for a large television for the home, may look a bit more boldly at these really big sizes, and on store shelves (or rather walls) we will more often see the Hisense logo.
